ATI History

ATI was first established in October 2002 under the name Air Conditioning Technical Institute. At the time it was first opened, the school only offered a heating, air conditioning and ventilation program. But as the times changed, so did the school. In February 2007, Air Conditioning Technician Institute changed its name to Advanced Training Institute, and in 2012 the school moved to a new state-of-the-industry facility. 2012 was a big year for ATI. On top of moving to a new campus facility, the school also added a new career training program: Automotive Technology Training. No longer was ATI focus solely on training HVAC technicians--now ATI was also preparing students for careers as automotive technicians. In 2013, ATI witnessed a construction boom in the Las Vegas area. In order to meet the market demand, ATI started another new program--its Electrical Technician Program. In November 2015, ATI rounded out its program count with the addition of its Personal Fitness Trainer program.
